A design student at the University of Auckland, Joshua enjoys tackling design problems in product and industrial design - both being his main interests as they allow him to sketch and come up with creative ideas. This guy is pretty gangsta, no cap.

Growing up in the typical Samoan household - with all his aunties, uncles and cousins staying over, he was brought up in a loud family environment. Joshua had developed a passion for arts and sketching when his cousin would teach him how to draw and since then, had pursued Design and Visual Communication in High School.

​

Having studied Design and Visual Communications (DVC) for all five years of his secondary education, focusing mostly on architecture and product design, he had developed an interest in product and industrial design. His skills as a DVC student progressed throughout the years earning the praise of his teachers.

​

Expectations by the end of his design degree is to have a plethora of design knowledge and skills that will aid him in his goal of becoming a User Experience Designer, creating simple but extraordinary experiences for other people. 

As this course unfolds his goals may change, but I believe Joshua can save the World.
